Description
Painting ofParc-y-Garreg Standing Stone, Pen Cnwc, by J. C. Young, oil on board, 5" x 8". One of acollection of paintings recording the standing stones of Pembrokeshire whichwere created by artist J.C. Young over a three year period from 1981 to1984.
Parc-y-Garreg Standing Stone measures approximately 30" in height: four-sided, with a flat back, wedge-shaped top, and a sloping, stepped front. The stone has become rounded with age, and exhibits many depressions.
