Description

Sue Bidmead, interviewed by Marion Webber on 1st September 2017.

Sue discusses how she became involved in community work from her studies and work within the environment on projects in Aberdare and other valleys communities.

She was employed as a community development worker and was based at Community House in the 90s.

Early projects that she was involved in were the 'sunflower seed' project and she is particularly proud of 'Young Citizens'.
Her work co-producing Maindee Festival with Andy O'Rourke and Sally Evans-Lewis was what she became most known for.
