John writes of arriving in Brasier City yesterday. T. E. Hughes joined them on the seventh of the month looking stout and strong. John is very grateful to his parents for sending the letters and the Drych [Welsh Community Newspaper].

John once again mentions their intention to move to Memphis and says there's a chance he could go home for a while. He's going to try his best.
