Description

This public health notice gives advice on how to stop the spread of influenza. Advice includes boiling handkerchiefs after use, flushing of air in occupied rooms, warm clothing and avoid overcrowding in homes or in unventilated assembly rooms or places of entertainment.

Also, it advised that gargling the throat with a solution of 1 in 5,000 Permanganate of Potassium in water containing 0.8 per cent of common salt.
