Hugh Evans

I was born in Borth in 1943 I did not know my father until after the war as he was in the Royal Artillery serving in France.We moved to Caergwrle in 1949 as my father was a teacher in Flint Secondary Modern school.We moved to Ashby De La Zouch in 1956 as my father was apointed Headmaster of The Granville Secondary Modern School in Woodville.As was an Electrical Fitter at Drakelow Power Station from 1959 to 1960.I was an Electrical Fitter at Drakelow Power Station until I moved to Ratcliffe on Soar Power Station in 1968 enployed as a Gerneral Assistant in the Electrical Department.I worked at Ratcliffe until I retired in 2008.I have always been interested in family history of the Welsh Mariners of Borth working with my late father he died in 1998.
