Description
The Plate Scullery is a separate room, off the main kitchen, where crockery was washed and dried, vegetables cleaned and peeled, and other rougher kitchen chores performed. Several large sinks and drainers are arranged along the wall under the window, and a huge plate rack for drying and storing dishes is situated against the back wall.
