Dearest Lillie
Many thanks for your several letters, soap, etc etc. I had the insurance paper and it was of no importance. I am expecting my leave, but everything is uncertain here. There will be so much to do in seven days, that I shall only be able to just stay a couple of days or so at Carmarthen. The course was for a certain M.G. (machine gun) now used and it lasted 7 days, I was passed, distinguished. There is a new sub here named Reeves from the 15th Batt. Thanks Aunt G for her kind letters and card. I will write a short letter today if possible.
Excuse more
Fond love to all
Your loving brother
Harry
