Mr. Fred Evans is standing over the Rector's left shoulder, hatless with a moustache; "Uncle" Cook is standing over the Rector's right shoulder, hatless; Dick Cook is to Fred Evans's left, hatless. The Cooks lived at Maes y How, New Road, Porthcawl, now number 107.
