The Welsh national rugby team, vs Scotland, Inverleith, 4 February 1905

Description

In this year, Wales won the Triple Crown and the Four Nations Championship. They defeated Scotland at Inverleith 6-3 and also beat England 25-0 at the Arms Park and Ireland 10-3 in Swansea. Later in the year the Welsh went on to record that famous victory against the All Blacks in Cardiff.

The team was as follows: W. Neill (Cardiff), C. M. Pritchard (Newport), G. Travers (Pill Harriers), D. Jones (Aberdare), W. Joseph (Swansea), Sitting: G. Davies (Swansea), H. V. Watkins (Newport), J. J. Hodges (Newport), A. F. Harding (London Welsh), W. Llewellyn (captain, Newport), E.T. Morgan (London Welsh), R. T. Gabe (Cardiff), Dan Rees (Swansea), Front: R. M. Owen (Swansea) and W. Trew (Swansea).
