Description

In this picture (left to right): Cian Iolen Rhys, Lord Dafydd Wigley, Elan Williams, Swyn Prysor Huws.

Here are three ambassadors from the LleCHI project visiting the National Slate Museum, Llanberis, to share information about the LleCHI Cymru nomination and to hear the lecture by Lord Dafydd Wigley.
The lecture outlined the battles in Wales and Westminster to establish recognition of the dangers caused by breathing slate dust; ensuring the responsibility and securing a slate compensation fund to make payments to quarrymen, former-quarrymen and their widows.
