Llysgenhadon LleCHI
The LleChi Young Ambassadors was a joint project between the Slate Landscape of Northwest Wales World Heritage Site bid, the LleChi project and the National Slate Museum, Llanberis. The project was made possible through funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
An exciting project to bring the young people of the north Wales slate areas together, and through a series of workshops, visits and events, equip them with knowledge of their heritage and culture and developing them into Young Ambassadors to the World Heritage Site.
The Slate Landscape of Northwest Wales was awarded World Heritage Site Status during the Summer of 2021.
