The Royal British Legion St George Branch

The Royal British Legion branch standard from St George village in North Wales. The Standard is from around 1928 and is currently held at the Parish Church of St George. Sadly recent smoke damage may have deteriorated the standard further.
The St George branch was a branch in the small village of St George (Welsh: Llansansior, sometimes Llan San(t) Siôr or Llan Sain Siôr) in North Wales (Historically Denbighshire but now Conwy).
The branch is believed to have opened in April 1928 and closed in July 1932. There is no further information except the existence of the branch and Ladies section standards. If you have any further history of the St George branch to expand the history please contact us.
