Abertillery - Martin Ridley Collection

This small collection of images of Abertillery was taken by commercial photographer Martin Ridley, around 1905. The National Library of Wales' collection consists of 800 negatives in all, a number of which includes views of Abertillery. It is not known why so many images of this town were taken by him, but this selection represents various buildings and views of the town and of the mining industry which was at the heart of the community in Abertillery.
