The Wartski Family (Since mid-nineteenth century)
Morris Wartski was a Jewish immigrant from Poland. He opened his Bangor jewellery shop in 1865 and specialised in trading Russian jewellery and art. He was a popular mayor and donated Wartski Fields to the city.
