This is a collection of material relating to the service career of Mr James Mason on Brynaman, Carmarthenshire. James served in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers from 1956 and into the early 60's. He initially joined as a Junior Leader at age 16, before specializing in the trade of Field Instrument Technician. As a technical specialist, James was regularly posted around British Army bases, serving in the UK, Cyprus and BAOR Germany.
