Held on 24th July 2008 at the Blaenavon Workmen's Hall, a suitably historic location. Women’s Archive specialists were joined by the South Wales Coalfields Collection, Blaenavon WEA and the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre, who all brought along interesting and relevant displays and information.
Siân Rhiannon Williams, senior lecturer in History Education at UWIC, also gave a fascinating talk on women’s lives in Gwent, which was very well attended and a great success.
