Wynne Lewis
During this interview memories of Aberfan, Rugby and the Investiture are discussed. The interviewee talks of the nearness of Aberfan to his home and the worry that the same thing could happen in other villages in the Rhondda. He discusses how broadcasting disasters has changed over the years. Rugby is discussed as a game, the high expectations of fans in the 1970s, and also all the other things that happened in the wake of rugby. As he discusses the Investiture he tells of the objections of some people at Ysgol Rhydfelen to the event, his own indifference, the worry that something would disturb the ceremony and George Thomas' role in the celebration.
