The interviewee's father bought a television for the Coronation in 1953, remembers that her grandmother didn't approve of the television but eventually came around.Later didn't have a television in Felinheli until a neighbour put up an aerial and allowed everyone to connect to it and pay to receive television.She followed the Devolution debates in 97 and felt that the arguments cancelled each other out. Stayed up with her husband to watch some of the results and they were both interested.She does watch S4C with subtitles but it hasn't influenced her viewing patterns very much.
