The Old Church on the corner of Eton Road and Corporation Road, Newport South Wales

The original church had to be demolished due to subsidence. This was started in 1962. The intention then was to build another church on the same site. The name of the first church was Corporation Road Hall and belonged to the Forward Movement. The foundations started to sink after only eight years, and by 1960 there was evidence of severe damage.
