Reverend Francis Lockey 1796-1869

In 1933 the Bristol and West of England Amateur Photographic Association donated one hundred and fourteen calotypes (paper negatives) taken by the Reverend Francis Lockey (1796-1869) to Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales. These images were taken during photographic tours of Wales. In 1934 a set of prints were created from the original paper negatives. These images from Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales were digitised as a result of a gift to the Museum by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation in 2011.
