Description

Twenty six soldiers, most wearing Welsh Regiment cap badges, including a sergeant and sergeant major (centre). All are wearing bandoliers The photograph has been taken in front of the premises of "William & Walter James, Auctioneers, Valuers, Land Agents & Surveyors" presumably at 9 Carmarthen Street, Llandeillo. No wound stripes or overseas chevrons are visible suggesting the photo dates from the early years of the war.
