This postcard of Ystradfellte Church was sent on 23 Dec. 1922 as a Christmas greeting by the Vicar of Ystradfellte (Rev. William Jones) and his wife to Police Constable Henry Edward Jones and his wife Eliza Ann, nee Morgan, at the Police Station in Hirwaun. PC Jones's first posting, in 1908, had been to Ystradfellte. Eliza, from Penllwyneinon farm in Ystradfellte, had been the cook at the Vicarage before their marriage, which took place at Ystradfellte Church on 20 June 1911.
