The Railway Bridge at Pwllholm, Monmouth, nearing completion, c.1906

Description

Pwlholm was the site of the regimental training ground for the Monmouthshire Regiment. A railway track, complete with locomotive, was constructed there in the early 20th century, for training purposes. A railway bridge was constructed on the site, spanning the river Monnow.
