Description
These Jackson Focus Tubes were part of the x-ray machine in Dinorwig Quarry Hospital in 1898. They are of particular interest as it was only in 1895 that x-rays were discovered in Germany and that this is one of the earliest evidence of their use in the United Kingdom.
