My brother Alan is driving this Ferguson tipping trailer, with extended sides to carry up to 3 tons of barley. The harvester need not stop, the trailer drives alongside, keeping place under the spout. We had two of these outfits too. They were able to keep the harvesters going, maintaining a shuttle service back along the length of the farm and across the dingle to the former cow-shed, now converted to a grain store/dryer. Two of the farm children (Gerhard & Susie Lenkeit) are enjoying a ride all over the farm in the trailer, perfectly legal then.
