Wahing up, Pantyrhuad dairy, c. 1953
Description
I took this shot of myself, with tripod and delayed action shutter. We were most particular about our milking equipment, it had to be carefully washed up and steam sterlized, there was a wood-fired boiler in a shed alongside, a steam jet for each set of teat cups, and everything else stacked in the steam chest.
