Description

A black and white photograph of a steam train looking towards Cardiff and Stanwell Road Bridge. Engine brought train in here then goes back out and down next line in reverse to take the train over to the platform. The Railway Pub can be seen in background.

An ex Great Western Railway 4100 class 2-6-2T at Penarth Town Station, as noted the locomotive has run around its train and will pull forward and reverse into the platform nearest the camera to await departure for Cardiff and one of the Valleys.
