Notes on LLANFECHAN, Alltyblaca, Ceredigion 2012

A return to Llanfechen before spring, when the foliage freed views and the size of the house could be fully appreciated. I like this house. I like its position; the scale and the years it has been empty.

The morning fog had yet to truly rise and the fog makes the visualization of the scene in black and white much easier. The muted colours are simple and much closer to a black and white print.
