Description

A hand-tinted souvenir postcard marking the official opening in 1904, by King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, of the spectacular series of dams and reservoirs in the Elan Valley. Here the King and Queen are pictured crossing the topmost dam at Craig goch, to which they were taken by a special royal train.
