Description
The Elan Valley soon became a favoured destination for visitors and holidaymakers after the completion of the dams in the early 1900s. The huge scheme to supply water for the expanding city of Birmingham had created a new 'Lake District' in mid-Wales, and this card was made from two photographs to highlight the expanses of water to be seen there.
