Description
The appropriately named Shakey Bridge which spanned the River Ithon near Llandrindod Wells was an alarmingly primitive and potentially dangerous structure made of planks suspended on wires. Built in the 1890s, it became a major attraction for visitors despite the possibility of sampling the local water in a new way.
