Engraved view of Hay-on-Wye, 1823

Description

A view of Hay and the remains of its castle above the town from downstream of the bridge over the River Wye, as drawn by David Cox. This attractive two-colour aquatint was engraved by S. Lacey and published in London in 1823 by T. Clay of Ludgate Hill.
