Description
One of a set of four cockfighting prints published in 1825. An 18th century octagonal building in the town called the Cockpit was used for cockfighting until 1849. This print, entitled 'Throat', is from a painting by H. Alken, published by S & J Fuller of Rathbone Place, London.
