A pair of card mounted stereoscope images from around 1890 entitled 'View on the canal, Welchpool', and showing the old Welshpool Aqueduct Warehouse, with its large wooden crane and winch. This card was one of a series of 'local stereoscopic slides for pocket and other stereoscopes' published by Robert Owen, a bookseller, stationer, printer and bookbinder in the town.
