Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway, c. 1906

Description

A train belonging to the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway at Seven Stars station in Welshpool pictured on a postcard of around 1906. The station here, named after an inn demolished to make room for the railway, was just an open shed with no platform. The line went right in to the town, crossing roads and squeezing between shops and houses.
