Description
Started life as Hardy Croft Nursery. Purchased and developed by Rhyl Council in the 1920's it became a favourite rendezvous for visitors and residents. There are eight acres which housed beautiful rose gardens and borders,tennis courts, crown green bowling greens, putting, aviary, aquarium, consevatories and a children's playground There was also a cafe, the present building being the third on the same site. Visitors were conveyed to the gardens by the old "toast rack" buses which used to be a familiar sight on the town's streets.
