Colonel William Frederick Cody better known as Buffalo Bill came to Rhyl with his Wild West Show and Circus on May 27th. 1903. The enormous show was set up on Wellington Road where a huge structure was erected capable of accommodating 14,000 spectators.
He hired 4 special trains to carry 500 horses, 800 people and 100 American Indians to Rhyl.
