Guard of Honour for the Queen
Description
The Genedlaethol was held in Rhyl in 1953, the year of the Queen's Coronation. The Pavilion was assembled on Brookes' field and this is a picture of the Guard of Honour for the Queen. It was made up of personnel from the local Territorial Army in full ceremonial "Blues" uniform. Amongst the ranks is my father but don't ask me to find him! There will be a good few other local men who were involved as well.
