Typical 'Walking Photo' Rhyl Promenade
Description
Photo taken by walking photographers who used to carry the very large camera on their shoulder. They would take your photo without asking you first and give you a ticket to pick up the picture later if you wanted. The service was still going well into the Sixties. The boy in the striped blazer, Michael, was the son of the family from Manchester who lived with my mother for part of the war as evacuees. Rhyl served as an evacuee destination during WW2
