Rhyl Golf Club, also showing what is now Old Golf Road.
Description
Research in the local press explains that the clubhouse was opened on Tuesday, September 19th 1893 by the President of the club, Captain Mainwaring. It was erected on a site on Marine Drive facing the links. The paper described the club house as a "pretty building and most tastefully designed. The accommodation comprises a large club room with separate compartments for ladies, in addition to every convenience for servants and players, apartments being provided for the caretaker. The opening proceeding took the form of a luncheon."
