When spa resort holidays were still fashionable in the Edwardian years the large hotels in the town had many eminent guests. The guests recorded on this page include the Venerable Archdeacon of St Asaph, Victoria the Countess of Yarborough, and Sir Arthur Nicolson of the British Embassy, St Petersburg.
