Description

The fabulously ornate gilded gates which formed the formal entrance to the house were made between 1714 and 1718 by William and Simon Edney, two of the finest gatesmiths in the country at the time. They were commissioned by John Morgan, and they bear his monogram, entwined with that of his wife, Martha.
