The Nantymoel Workmen’s Hall and Institute built in 1902, held a Library, Cinema, Billiard Room, Games Room, Reading Rooms and Committee Rooms. It was renamed the Berwyn Centre after Berwyn Roderick B.A., a former Senior English Master of the Grammar School. Sadly, the Hall has now been demolished.
