Wyndham Boys Club, opposite the Central Washery Ogmore Vale
Description
Members of the Wyndham Boys & Girls Club with Stan Norris MBE on a fact-finding mission on Mynydd-y-Gwair overlooking the remains of the Rhondda Main Colliery and the Ogmore Central Washery. The club opened in 1938 and in 2007, Stan was awarded an MBE for over 50 year’s unbroken service to the club.
