The Ogmore Vale Rugby team that faced New Zealand in 1919 pictured outside the Corbett Arms Pub, the home of OVRFC until its relocation to Tynewydd Row further north in 1966. The game finished 12 – 7 to New Zealand. Ogmore Rugby Club played Australia one week later on 22nd April 1919 beating them 6 points to 3.
