Description

To reduce the housing shortage at the end of the Second World War, 52 prefabricated bungalows were erected between December 1946 and May 1947 in Pant-yr-awel. A new development of Council houses in the 1970’s replaced these, whilst the 1920’s Council houses in the centre are still easily identifiable
