Triple Crown Memorial Cup, 1908-09 [image of 1 of 4]

Description

This cup was awarded to the Welsh national rugby team in 1909 on achieving the first ever Triple Crown, although by today's standards it would have been a Grand Slam. The team won all five matches in the competition against Australia, England, Ireland, Scotland and France.
