Lanyards like this one were given to artists who performed at the 2013 Cardiff Mardi Gras, held for the first and only time at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium. Artists from that year included Beverley Knight and Rylan Clark. The first ever Cardiff Mardi Gras event took place on September 4th 1999 with 5,000 in attendance, since then it has grown in popularity and now attracts over 50,000 people.
