Description
W8/72 Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Whitchurch Hospital, Cardiff c1945.
First left, front row: 7936416 Corporal Richard Ernest Morris, Royal Tank Regiment.
Richard Morris served with the EMS at Whitchurch between 1944 and 1946 after being wounded in Normandy. He carried out the duties of Admissions and Discharge Clerk and NCO in charge of NAAFI
(Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes).
