Description

A 61 page binder fixed booklet of the former Haverfordwest Borough Police. Created by R. Winston Jones - September 1989. A historical account of the former Haverfordwest Borough Police, which at its maximum, had only 6 men. There was a Head Constable, a Sergeant and four Constables. Full of interesting facts, figures, sketches and photographs relating to one of the smallest police forces to have ever exited in Wales. It was formed in 1835 and ceased to exist in 1889 when it was merged with the county force - Pembrokeshire Police. Published by Haverfordwest Civic Society. Printed in Pembrokeshire College Training Office.
